Okay my last post was maudlin.
I am over it now.
My father once told me that a church congrgation was not a true family until they have a birth, marriage, and a funeral all on the same weekend.
It is hard sometimes to feel the joy and love of a season or people when you also are experiencing saddnes and loss from another event. I guess the ability to handle emotions and give each its appropriate time and attention is what makes a person whole. Life is complicated but it does move forward; never going back. Life is a succesion of events but all of which should lead us to joy and happiness.
Finding the joy and happiness in sad events is not always easy. I know that it is my belief and faith of an existamnce beyond the grave that allows me to see the joy. We will know each other in heaven. We will see, hear, touch, and love as we do here on Earth.
PS - Thank you Collin. (Collin is a five year old friend that expressed his desire to be able to see and touch his mother in heaven. Never under estimate the wisdom of a child.)

Psalms 82:6 ...all of you are children of the most High.
