Papa - Did you forget....

"Papa! Did you forget Nana's birthday?"

Now I know I was running late on getting a present and a card but I had not forgotten. What made her think I had?

"You have no balloons or twisty things. There is no cake. You forgot Nana's birthday!

No I did not forget.

But older people would like to somethimes forget their birthdays.
